Rapid Deployment
In the face of an escalating war, our team was tasked with the healthcare app development for a high-load system in record time. It took us two weeks to deploy the first version of the platform. We had to ensure that the platform could handle a surge in users without compromising on safety standards.

Registration and Qualification Verification
Doctors4UA is a free-to-use telehealth SaaS platform available both through the website and mobile applications in the Apple Store and Google Play: separately for doctors and patients. Besides, there is an admin part that helps to manage all the consultations and schedules. The platform works basically as a marketplace since we provide access to register for both patients and doctors. That doesn’t mean any person can just register as a doctor and start providing consultations. Before providing services and accepting patients, the specialist must prove the qualifications and upload any documents or certificates about his education (most often it’s a diploma from the university). Only once he or she verifies all the information and completes registration, the doctor can actively use the platform, add a schedule, and much more.
Scheduling and Consultation Management
On our platform, doctors can control the number of requests by creating a schedule, which is an important part of the system. Doctors set up the time when they are available, and the length of the consultation. There is also a functionality to update the schedule later on. To make doctors’ lives easier and help them come to the consultation prepared, the platform asks a patient to provide basic information about the cause of the appointment.
Urgent Consultations
Sometimes patients, especially during wartime, don’t have time to wait for a specific doctor and schedule an appointment. There is often a need for an urgent consultation, and Doctors4UA gives such functionality as well. Therapists and pediatricians can switch the toggle once they are online and ready to accept patients with urgent requests. Patients go to the line and wait until one of the available doctors can start the consultation.
Communication Options
The application allows users to choose a convenient way of communication: video, audio, or text chat. Even though a call with a doctor sounds like the best option, in some areas patients don’t have a stable and strong Internet connection, so text messages can help get medical help even in such conditions. The format can be changed during the consultation. It is also possible to send media files, such as, i.e., lab results.
Reminders and Notifications
To ensure that both patients and doctors adhere to their scheduled appointments, our system incorporates a suite of customizable reminders. A countdown timer activates 5 minutes before the appointment time. Additionally, both parties can opt to receive email alerts and, with the mobile app installed, push notifications. These reminders can be personalized, allowing each individual to select their preferred notification timing.
Post-Consultation Process
At the end of the consultations, doctors need to complete recommendations, so patients can easily find the list of prescribed meds in the digital prescription. A function of digital medical requisition (to another doctor or medical exams) is also available.
Offline Consultations
In addition to online consultations, we have added offline ones: doctors can choose which type of consultation they schedule.
Integration with Medical Devices
The platform has integrations with medical devices as well as a feature of a medical tracker and remembers the medical history of every patient.
